Pastor Alan & Sister Becky
Brother Alan Stewart accepted the call to be our pastor on August 20, 2017. He was born-again on March 11, 1990 by repenting of his sin and calling on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation at the age of nine. After he graduated high school he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Germany where he surrendered to full-time Christian service, and the Lord called him to preach. He was from Pennsylvania, but he had a “second-conversion” when he was stationed in Georgia after his tour of duty in Germany. He is quite happy about being a Southerner and in particular, a Georgian. When he was assigned to Ft. Stewart he joined our fellowship in 2001. From 2001-2006 he worked with our bus ministry, except for a year while he was deployed to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom III. After his tour of duty, he and his “Princess” were married, and they have three wonderful children, two daughters, and one son. In 2006 the Lord moved Brother Alan and Sister Becky to two different churches to help them with their bus ministries. Then in 2011 he was called to pastor a church in Spartanburg, SC. After pastoring there for a short while, he went to Bible College in southern West Virginia. While there as a student he served as an interim-pastor. After graduating Bible College, the Lord directed their path back here with us at Victory Baptist, now serving as our pastor. While serving here he completed seminary in 2020.
Sister Becky received Christ as her Saviour at the age of five. She hails from South Carolina and enjoys living with her husband in Georgia (She will not give up the Gamecocks). She is a great asset to our fellowship as she serves alongside her husband.
